A Pre - Raphaelite Art exhibition at Northampton Museum and Art gallery, are presenting beautiful collections of Pre - Raphaelite works of art, from Saturday 14th of September 2013 until Sunday 3rd of November 2013. The Brotherhood founded in 1849 by William Holman Hunt, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, John Everett Millais, William Michael Rossetti, James Collinson, Thomas Woolner and F.G Stephens. A showcase of Pre - Raphaelite artists William Holman Hunt and Sir Edward Burne Jones were donated to the museum in 1947 by Evangeline Middlemore.
My interest is within the artworks, for they all contain elements of aesthetic detail, beauty, rebellion and emotion. I can compare the artworks to my theme through nature, expression of feelings, and the strong bold, vivid alluring colour palette.
